Styling and Loans

PJB is more than happy to loan pieces to stylists for photoshoots, editorial features, red carpet appearances, and other creative projects. Please consult the styles available through our Stylist Portal to view the availability of garments from both recent and previous collections. The Stylist Portal is accessible via a login wall. If you wish to request access, please contact us via email and we will be happy to assist.

PJB offers fixed loan rates, which can be viewed through our Stylist Portal, lookbooks, or provided upon request via email. Loan fees apply to all non-editorial loans, including creative shoots, social media content, red carpet appearances, events, and other commercial projects. We are happy to work within budgets where possible and tailor loan fees to suit the nature of each project, so please feel free to be open with us about your budget and requirements so that we can accommodate you where possible.

To enquire about a loan, please contact us via email with a brief overview of the project or client, along with the garments you are interested in borrowing. Where applicable, we also appreciate receiving sizing information, as many of the garments created for our presentations are couture pieces made specifically to fit the original models.

Due to the high volume of loan requests we receive, and because many of our garments are delicate couture pieces, measurements may be required prior to approving and releasing a garment. This allows us to determine the most suitable fit, minimise the risk of damage, and ensure the longevity and preservation of each piece. In some instances, we may decline a request for a particular garment if we believe the sizing is unsuitable or if there is an increased risk of damage during wear.

Once a loan has been approved, a contract outlining the agreed terms and fees will be issued. As soon as a garment leaves the PJB Studio, it is considered to be on loan and all agreed terms and conditions apply. The borrower is responsible for any dry-cleaning, repairs, and shipping or transport costs incurred during the loan period. In the event that a garment is damaged beyond repair or destroyed, the borrower agrees to cover the full replacement value of the piece. Garments returned after the agreed return date will incur a late fee of 10% of the garment's RRP for each additional day overdue.

For editorial loans, the publication must be confirmed prior to the shoot. Editorial styling must ensure that at least 75% of the borrowed garment remains visible, meaning excessive layering or styling that obscures the piece is not permitted. Upon publication, the stylist and/or publication must provide PJB with the agreed deliverables, including a digital copy of the editorial via email and, where applicable, a printed copy of the magazine.

If a garment borrowed under an editorial agreement is ultimately not used in the final printed or published editorial, the borrower will be invoiced the applicable non-editorial loan fee for that garment. Likewise, if the required editorial deliverables are not received within six (6) months of the original loan date, the loan will no longer be considered editorial and will instead be reclassified as a non-editorial loan. The borrower will then be invoiced the full applicable loan fee in accordance with PJB's standard loan rates.

Please note that loan fees are non-refundable. If a garment has been paid for and subsequently goes unused, no refund will be issued. Once a garment has been collected, shipped, or otherwise leaves the PJB Studio, the loan is considered active regardless of whether the garment is ultimately worn, photographed, published, or used for the intended purpose.

PJB reserves the right to decline any loan request at its discretion.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. In the event of any dispute between you and us, the matter will be resolved exclusively under the jurisdiction of Australian law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss, damage, or injury incurred as a result of using this website. This includes, but is not limited to, harm to your device, software, or data arising directly or indirectly from your use of the site.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, photographs, graphics, music, sound, video, and overall design, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. These rights may be owned or controlled by us and may include both registered and unregistered rights such as copyright and trademarks. Purchase Terms

By purchasing goods or services via our website, you agree to the terms outlined at the point of purchase, whether presented on the website itself or in any email communication sent to you by us during the purchasing process. In the absence of specific terms, the general terms outlined here will apply.

Payment can be made using major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via Shopify Checkout, or through Afterpay, Shop Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal. All transactions are charged in Australian Dollars (AUD), and all prices are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is not formed until you receive written confirmation from us that your order has been accepted. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.

Cancellations and Returns

Non-Couture Pieces
Items that are not custom-made or couture may be returned provided you contact us by email at pr@parisjadeburrows.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Please include your order number and a brief description of the item(s) you wish to return. Upon approval, you will receive a Return Authorisation Number (RA#), which must be included with your return package.

Items must be returned in their original, saleable condition — unworn, unwashed, and with tags attached — within seven days of receiving your RA# to:

Return shipping is at your expense. We recommend using a tracked or registered postal service as we are not responsible for items lost in transit. If all return conditions are met, a refund will be processed for the original purchase amount, including any shipping fees, within five business days of receiving your returned item. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Couture Pieces
Due to the bespoke and made-to-order nature of couture garments, all couture pieces are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable under any circumstances. We encourage you to contact us prior to purchase if you have any questions about sizing, fit, or design specifications.

Sale Items
Items purchased on sale are final and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are deemed faulty.

Exchanges

You may request an exchange for non-couture, full-priced items by contacting pr@parisjadeburrows.com within five days of receiving your order. Please include your order number and details of the item(s) you wish to exchange. Upon approval, you will be issued an RA#, and you must return the item within seven days of receiving this number.

Items must be returned in original condition with tags attached. Exchanges may be made for items of equal value in a different size, colour, or style. Please include a prepaid, self-addressed satchel (such as Express Post) for return delivery of the exchanged item. We are not responsible for return shipping costs for exchanges.

We do not accept exchanges for sale items or couture garments.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are considered non-returnable:

• Couture or made-to-order garments
• Items that have been worn, washed, or altered
• Personalised or otherwise customised pieces
• Intimate apparel or goods that cannot be resold for hygiene reasons

Ownership and Risk

Ownership and risk in the goods pass to you upon delivery to the address you have provided. All deliveries require a signature, which serves as proof of receipt and transfer of responsibility. If you nominate someone else to receive the order on your behalf, their signature will constitute proof of delivery and fulfilment.

This agreement is strictly between you and us. No third party shall have any rights to enforce or rely on any provision of this agreement.

Shipping and returns:

DELIVERIES WITHIN AUSTRALIA

As a made-to-order couture business, each garment will require time to be completed before dispatch . Once your order is complete and ready for shipment, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email.

All domestic orders are sent via Australia Post using pre-paid tracked postage slips. Delivery generally takes between two to five business days from the time of dispatch, depending on your location.

A signature is required upon delivery, so please ensure that someone will be available to receive the parcel between 9am and 5pm. We can deliver to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers. If you are providing a business address, please include the business name to help ensure a smooth delivery.

If no one is available at the time of delivery, Australia Post will leave a collection card, and your parcel will be held at your nearest post office for pick-up.

Domestic shipping is charged at a flat rate of $15 for all orders and $20 for Express. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES

For international clients, shipping times vary based on location and customs processing. Once your made-to-order piece has been completed and dispatched, you will receive an email with your tracking details.

We ship all international orders via Australia Post’s tracked parcel services. Delivery typically occurs within seven to fourteen business days from the time of dispatch, though this may vary if your parcel is delayed by customs.

International deliveries are sent on a Delivery Duties Unpaid (DDU) basis. This means that any customs duties, taxes, or import fees must be paid by the recipient once the parcel arrives in the destination country. We recommend checking with your local customs office prior to ordering to avoid any unexpected charges.

International shipping is charged at a flat rate of $40. All prices on our website are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST.

Please keep in mind that all shipping timeframes apply after the completion of your garment.

The times for shipment are dependant on your location. Please refer to the Australia Post times for an idea now how long it will take to get to your location.
