Oshua's Triple J Unearthed competition winning song "Veins" is a catchy, heart-pumping jam with electronic drum beats and heartfelt lyrics.Taking references from The Matrix, anime fight sequences and the postmodern cacophony of Demna Gvasalia’s Balenciaga, the music video depicts Oshua’s mental struggle for self-identity through a metaphorical battle with a masked assailant. The louche elegance of Yohji Yamamoto, the gritty dystopian vision of Akira, and the dynamism of Marvel’s fight choreography come together in a stampede of movement, mayhem, and dark glittering flair.
